Destinations

I am determined to create a full list of all my travels around the United States. I’ve always kept notes when I go on a road trip, and I still have all the plans. Somewhere… And I have photos from everywhere. The old ones are film pictures, and I will have to scan them. I also have lots of brochures and other tourist maps and pamphlets, “organized” in bags. For now, I am trying make lists of all the places. The problem is that I start out a road trip with big intentions of keeping notes on everything including the odometer readings and what time we stop for snacks, when we get to a museum and what time we leave. That’s at the beginning of the trip. As the trip progresses, I get sloppier. I begin to misplace receipts. I do my best, but I’m exhausted, and there’s a point where I say, Oh who cares? and I quit taking such good notes. But I am pretty good at keeping all the receipts and sorting them when I get back home. I also keep all the admission tickets and pamphlets and such. I have done some scrapbooking with some of it and have big plans to finish all that up when I’m in my 80s.

U.S. States I've Been To

U.S. states I’ve been to are in color, “been to” meaning I have photos of something interesting from there and have found at least one geocache there.
